Pancake Day: Where to celebrate!

This year Pancake Day falls on Tuesday 25th February. If you’ve left plans till late, I’ve compiled a list of restaurants that still have some available bookings. Book fast as spaces are going quick!

1. Crêpe Affaire: Pancake Week – 24^th Feb – 1^st Mar (Multiple locations: including Spitalfields and White City) WALK-INS
   • Starting from the 24^th February, Crêpe Affaire will be celebrating Pancake Week, so look out for offers and competitions on their Instagram page @crepeaffaire. Students are also entitled to a 15% discount. You can also order pancakes for the office by filling out this form by Thursday 20^th
2. Fuwa Fuwa London: Japanese souffle pancakes (Russell Square) WALK INS ONLY
   • If you want one of those fluffy pancakes you’ve seen online, head over to this spot. Last orders taken at 20:00.

2. Christopher’s: Build-Your-Own (Covent Garden, 020 7240 4222)
   • Pancake specials including the Lobster Benedict and Peaches & Cream. There will also be a ‘Build-Your-Own’ Pancakes offer available all day, with pancakes starting from £10.

3. Where The Pancakes Are (Southwark, 020 7407 8408) WALK INS ONLY
   • Pancakes will be served all day from 10:30 – 21:30. Prices start from £6, and there will also be a pop-up at Flat Iron Square.

4. My Old Dutch (Multiple locations: Chelsea, Holborn, Kensington) WALK INS ONLY
   • Pancakes start from £6.75, however, you cannot book in advance. Queues form from midday, but you’ll only have to wait 15 minutes according to staff.

5. Breakfast Club (Multiple locations: Canary Wharf, London Bridge, Spitalfields) WALK-INS ONLY
   • Five stacks of pancakes starting from £5.99, all day!

6. Dirty Bones: Pimp Your Pancakes (Soho, Kensington, Shoreditch, Carnaby, Oxford)
   • ‘Pimp your Pancakes’ offer available, with pancakes starting from £7. This includes up to four toppings.

7. Chiltern Firehouse (Marylebone, 020 7073 7676)
   • No special events/menus announced yet. However, they have pancakes available for breakfast and brunch. Their pancakes are really good, find my review of them here.

8. Duo London & Bar: Pancakes & Prosecco, Bottomless Pancake Tuesday Special (Camden, 020 7284 0989)
   • With tickets starting from £36.50, you’ll have access to unlimited pancakes and prosecco for 2 hours. The event starts from 17:30 – 19:30.

9. Jerusalem Bar & Kitchen: Pancake Day with Jack Daniel's (Tottenham Court Road)
   • The restaurant will be serving an array of Jack Daniel themed pancakes and cocktails. Tickets start from £10 and the event starts at 19:00 and ends on the 22:00.

10. Revolution London: Pancakes and Prosecco (Tower Hill, 020 3355 7500)
    • Enjoy 2 hours of pancakes and prosecco for just £25 per person. This will take place from 14:00 till 22:00.

11. Coppa Club (Tower Bridge, 020 8016 9227)
    • No special menus/events announced yet. However, they’ll have pancakes available for breakfast. Only main restaurant available, as the igloos are fully booked.

12. Grind London (Multiple Locations: Covent Garden, London Bridge, Clerkenwell, Greenwich, Shoreditch)
    • No special menus announced, but they have a delicious pancake option available for breakfast.

13. The Ivy Market Grill, Covent Garden (Multiple locations: Covent Garden, Victoria, Canary Wharf, Holborn)
    • No special menus/events announced yet. However, they have a pancake dish available for £8.95.

14. Crème De La Crêpe (Covent Garden, 020 7836 8696)
    • No special menus/events announced yet. But they specialise in crepes.

PANCS (Covent Garden, 020 7836 8737)

• No special menus announced yet, but this is a lovely spot in Covent Garden specialising in sweet and savoury pancakes.

Kaspar's at The Savoy (Strand, 020 7420 2111)

• Try the 'Savoy style' pancakes with a range of delicious toppings such as blueberries, banana mousse, caramelised bananas, hazelnut and maple syrup.

  

Ask For Janice (Barbican, 020 7600 2255)

• Sweet and savoury pancakes including apple caramel, spiced rum flambéed banana and smoked salmon. The special pancake menu will be available to order throughout the day (or until they're gone). Open from 07:30 - 12:00. Prices starting from £9.50.
